As a publicist and copywriter, I discovered the need for (and the fun in) communicating creatively through written word. With my clients spanning all imaginable industries, I garnered experience writing on all topics for all audiences. So experimenting with journalism was only natural and extremely fulfilling. It didn’t take long before I was hooked.

Feature stories for lifestyle publications and short bios for business journals, financial advice bylines and travel guides, I have covered a good variety but am always eager to tackle new challenges and meet new characters. Perhaps my most valuable asset, however, is efficiency. I know that deadlines are a driving factor in this industry and budgets must be maintained. I was raised by an artist and went on to study the most creative form of business: marketing. It’s a beneficial blend: a marketer that has art in her blood and business in her brain. I understand the message that you want to communicate and have an eye for making that happen artistically.

With a personal passion for photography and a career that revolves heavily around visual elements, graphic design was an expected interest. I began designing personal blogs and birthday party invitations for friends and, from that, quickly added logos, brochures and identity packages, print ads and event collateral to my portfolio.
